As a composer, Lauren Cregor has written for off-Broadway, dance, short films, commercials, children, and choirs. Her work with off-Broadway company, Waterwell, was dubbed "brilliant, original and inspired" by the New York Times. Her film music has been screened across the globe. As a singer/songwriter, she has released 3 albums: 2 with her band and 1 of her children's music. A recipient of the "Meet The Composer" grant, Lauren has worked with children of many ages to help them find their musical voices. She is co-director of Sing LIC, a NYC choir program that encourages children to make their joyful noises while honing their craft. A graduate of Indiana University, The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and NYU, Lauren celebrates the education and growth that each new project offers, as well as their gifts of community and collaboration. She is a member of the BMI Musical Theater Workshop and ASCAP.
