"Thina" Premiere Presented by Museum of Science, Boston

“Thina” is a dance created by Kate St. Amand for the dancers of SYREN inspired by the work of South African composer, Philip Miller. The project uses Miller’s re-creation of the beloved Reuben T. Caluza song: “Influenza 1918” in response to the Covid Pandemic. SYREN is currently rehearsing virtually, via Zoom, to create the dance in much the same way that Miller’s musical collaborators worked to create the song. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER FOR THE EVENT!
